Time For You Salon
Ronold McDonald House
When volunteering making meals at the Ronald McDonald House we saw a need. When a child is ill the first thing to go is self-care, parents don’t want to leave the child’s bedside, we thought that bringing self-care to the family was the best way to help support them during a stressful time.
We took turned an exciting laundry room into a fully functional two-chair hair salon, complete with all of the products and tools that a hairdresser would need, additionally we build a new laundry room on the third floor and provided high-volume machines to help serve their community.
The salon is manned by volunteer hairdressers and has been used by nail technicians and massages.
